Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
This is a legal agreement between you and Click & Speak Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us", "gifPaper"). By using gifPaper, you agree to these terms.
What gifPaper Is
gifPaper is a live wallpaper service. It includes a macOS app (desktop, lock screen, and screen saver) and a website where you can browse and preview wallpapers. That's it.
Using gifPaper
- You must be a human. Bots are not permitted. (Hear that ChatGPT?)
- You're responsible for your license and how you use the app.
- Don't use gifPaper for anything illegal or to harm others.
- Don't reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app or the wallpapers.
- Your license is personal, non-transferable, and valid on up to 3 Macs.
Payment
gifPaper offers a free trial. After that, it's a one-time purchase. Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. They handle billing, VAT, and all that fun stuff.
Your purchase includes all updates to the current major version of gifPaper (e.g. gifPaper 1.x). Future major versions (e.g. gifPaper 2) may be sold separately.
See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
The Wallpapers
We create the wallpapers. You get to use them on your Mac. You don't get to sell them, redistribute them, or claim you made them. We retain all rights to the content.
No Warranty
gifPaper is provided "as is". We do our best to make it work well, but we can't guarantee it'll work perfectly on every Mac configuration ever made. Software is hard.
Limitation of Liability
We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of gifPaper. If your cat knocks your Mac off the table while watching a fireplace wallpaper, that's between you and the cat.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know through the app or website or telepathy.
